Shaping future treatments

If you have or were to develop dementia, what activities and abilities would be most important for you to be able to keep doing? Watch the animation to learn more.

Dementia is caused by brain diseases, most commonly Alzheimer's disease. As these diseases progress, it becomes more difficult for people to carry out everyday tasks.

That’s why scientists are working to develop treatments to help people with dementia, and even to one day prevent dementia.

But diseases like Alzheimer’s affect people differently. So we want to understand what’s most important to you. We want to know what you think new treatments should help with.

Take part now to help Alzheimer’s Research UK shape future treatments for dementia.
